I am a local GP born in Derby, trained in Manchester and have now worked in general practice since 1997. I am a GP trainer and in the past have been involved in the commissioning of local services. I have an interest in sports medicine and musculoskeletal problems. I do joint injections ultrasound guided. I am also the academy doctor at Derby County FC. My hobbies include sports, exercise, films and eating out.

I joined the practice in 2012. I am a local GP Trainer leading on GP training and care homes for the practice. I am co-clinical director for Primary Care Network, PCCO. My clinical interests include care of the elderly, gynaecology and mental health. I am married with one son. I enjoy spending time outdoors going on walks and running.

I joined the practice in March 2018 and I became a partner in April 2020. I am co-clinical director of the PCCO Primary Care Network. My clinical interests are musculoskeletal medicine, injections, dermatology and paediatrics. Outside of work, I enjoy many sports including cycling, running and crossfit.

I joined the practice in August 2020 and I am one of the partners. I am the lead within the practice for mental health, promotion of patient wellbeing and veterans’ health. I also have a background of training in obstetrics and gynaecology and still maintain an avid interest in this field. My leisure activities include going to the gym, trying new foods and reading.

I was born and raised in Canada, completed my medical training in Toronto then moved to the Derby area in 2002 after finishing family medicine residency training. I enjoy the variety of general practice and am developing an interest in lifestyle medicine. In my spare time I enjoy reading, travelling, running and singing in rock choir.
